New EP from Banshimoku

Rock band Banshimoku will release a new EP on June 18th.

Monku no hitotsu mo iitai! will be their first work to get a CD release. Its six songs are said to highlight the band's edgy and energetic sound.

Banshimoku is a duo consisting of vocalist and guitarist Chiga Shion and drummer Iohara Yamato. Both members contribute to the band's music and lyrics, mixing influences from Western alternative rock with their own unique styles.

An up-and-coming young band, Banshimoku held a nationwide tour hitting 10 locations in 2023, ending with a sold-out show at Shibuya WWW that drew plenty of attention. They have also performed at a number of popular festivals, including SUMMER SONIC, MONSTER baSH and INAZUMA ROCK FES.

They kicked 2025 off with a new song titled Shinsetsu, which is available for download and streaming here.
