New Album from nil

Rock band nil will release a new album on April 27th.

lil ill will be the group's first new full-length studio album in about 11 years. It will be released at live venues and via mail order. It was also noted that the lead track from the album will be released as a preceding digital single on April 25th.

nil was formed in 1998, with ZIGZO frontman Tetsu Takano at its centre. The group's line-up for this release will also feature THE CRO-MAGNONS bassist Masaru Kobayashi, who is a longtime member that also performs with Takano in the group THE BLACK COMET CLUB BAND, and drummer Jin Terui, who is a newer addition but is also part of THE BLACK COMET CLUB BAND and DISCO VOLANTE, another of Takano's projects.

nil will embark on a lengthy nationwide tour on May 6th to support the release.

The music video for A-HA-HA, a song featured on nil's 2006 mini-album SCHERZO, can be viewed below, followed by footage of nil performing Hate Beat! during a concert celebrating Tetsu Takano's 50th birthday that was held in December 2022. The show featured songs spanning his various projects.
