ayabie to Disband

Visual kei band ayabie will disband this spring.

The group's members announced in a message posted on their official website that they will be parting ways following their show at EX THEATER ROPPONGI on May 6th. They explained that as they reached the 20th anniversary of their formation last year, they reflected on their career as ayabie and realized they were able to do what they wanted and needed to do as a group without regrets, and that they wanted to respect each other's thoughts about where their lives will go in the future. They apologized to the fans who were hoping to see their activities continue and expressed their gratitude for all their years of support.

Their final tour will kick off at Osaka BananaHall on April 18th. Tickets are available for purchase here.
