Boy group BE:FIRST revealed the music video for their digital single Sailing today.
Released on streaming platforms back in November, Sailing serves as the ending theme of "ONE PIECE LOG: FISH-MAN ISLAND SAGA," a condensed version of the "Fish-Man Island Saga" from the anime series "ONE
PIECE." The song was produced by Chaki Zulu, who has worked with the group on a number of tracks, including Bye-Good-Bye and Be Free.
The song is said to pair a danceable track with lyrics that reflect the "ONE PIECE" worldview of overcoming hardships through a strong bond with one's friends. The lyrics were written by BE:FIRST's producer SKY-HI and group members
SOTA, SHUNTO and RYUHEI, who are all big "ONE PIECE" fans.
The song's music video is said to express BE:FIRST's love for "ONE PIECE," with the concept of depicted the group as "Cheerful Music Pirate Crew BE:FIRST." It was noted that elements like the props and camera angles were
chosen very deliberately to show respect for the anime.
