Rapper Shurkn Pap released a new digital single featuring rapper and beatmaker Ryohu today.
A collaboration between the two artists and producer Mellow In Da Street, RIDE is a preceding release from Shurkn Pap's upcoming album JIYU. The song is described as a “thrilling afrobeat-infused journey that captures the essence of embarking on
a new adventure with friends”.

The project is part of the “Future Shock” project made possible by Japan-based bpm plus asia and Brooklyn Yas in association with M.A.U Collective, in pursuit of bridging cultures and heritages across Asia.
Scheduled for release on September 29th, JIYU will contain 14 songs. It’s said to show Shurkn Pap embarking on an “adventure of freedom”, showcasing his unwavering spirit in music and his profound love for his hometown, Himeji.
Shurkn Pap also took part in Red Bull’s popular cypher series “RASEN” earlier this year. He was paired with female MC MARIA, Okinawa-based artist Shuto and R&B singer SIRUP and a beat produced by G.RINA of hip-hop unit FNCY.
