New Album from NEWS

Boyband NEWS will release a new album on August 9th.

NEWS EXPO is the group's thirteenth such release and comes as NEWS mark their twentieth anniversary. The double-disc album will be available in three editions.

The first disc contains ten original songs, interspersed with four spoken interludes. The second disc is a self-cover album by NEWS' current line-up of fifteen songs from the band’s discograghy, voted for by fans.

The first disc features the track We are Team NEWS composed by BUCK-TICK guitarist Hidehiko Hoshino and co-produced by Kishidan frontman Show Ayanocozey. m-flo DJ ☆Taku Takahashi, vocal quartet GReeeeN, and rapper SHO-SENSEI!! also contributed songs.

The regular edition’s first disc will include a further three bonus tracks, each sung solo by an individual member. Notably, Shigeaki Kato composed and produced Ninjo shinju himself.
