Miyake Ken to Leave Johnny & Associates

Miyake Ken has announced he will be leaving Johnny & Associates on May 2nd.

Miyake joined the agency as a teenager 30 years ago. He made his official debut in 1995 as a member of the boy group V6, which was active for 26 years before disbanding in 2021. In the years since V6 parted ways, Miyake has continued to perform as a singer, actor and television personality solo, but it was stated that he has decided to pursue a new path where he can take on new challenges.

In a comment on the agency’s official website Johnny's net, Miyake thanked the fans for their support and said his experiences up till now with Johnny's are an irreplaceable treasure to him. He stated that it may take some time for him to charge up before he can head to the next stage, but he promised he will be able to meet his fans again one day and hopes they will wait for that day to come with anticipation.
