This year marks the 25th anniversary of SUGIZO's solo career, and he recently announced that he will be celebrating with a new best-of album scheduled for release on November 23rd.
As the title suggests, THE COMPLETE SINGLE COLLECTION will contain all 30 of his singles, ranging from his first, LUCIFER, to his latest, Last night I had the strangest dream ~2020.
Seven of the songs will be newly mixed for the release, including LUCIFER, A PRAYER and Rest in Peace & Fly Away feat. Bice.
The album will be available in two types: a limited first edition and a regular edition. Both editions will feature three SHM-CDs, but the limited first edition will add a special LP jacket with a booklet including song descriptions and interviews.
To celebrate the album release, special autograph sessions for purchasers will be held in Tokyo and Osaka. For more information on these events, visit SUGIZO's page on Universal Music Japan's website.

“This is the first single collection of my solo career. Putting them all together like this, the musicality is so diverse, it's super chaotic! It's not the range of music that one person could ever make. It's super messy, at best it's a wide
range of activities, at worst it's just crazy! Absolutely mad! Nevertheless, although the musicality is completely inconsistent, the work must symbolize SUGIZO's 25-year path, the artist who has lived a tumultuous life while maintaining the highest
potential in his passion for music at all times. This peculiar best album that is not so straightforward to deal with but, in times like these, I sincerely hope many of you enjoy it!"
In addition, SUGIZO COSMIC DANCE QUINTET will perform its first live show in about three years at Zepp Haneda shortly after the album hits stores on November 29th.
In 2023, SUGIZO will also appear at Emerge Fest., a music festival in Taiwan that will be held at Aofong Mountain Sports Park on February 25th and 26th. SUGIZO COSMIC DANCE QUINTET will perform on the 26th.
