Electropop trio Perfume will release a new album on July 27th.
PLASMA will be their first new studio album in four years, following 2018's Future Pop.
The title expresses the group's ability to continue "moving with time and energy with no fixed shape", like plasma, which is the fourth fundamental state after solid, liquid and gas. The album is said to flow seamlessly through genres and experiences,
ranging from "fun driving music to smooth urban electro pop, synth filled city pop to a funk bass sound".
The release will contain 12 tracks, including the previously-released songs Saisei, Time Warp, Polygon Wave, Flow and Sayonara Plastic World, along with newly recorded tracks. It will be available in three
formats. The Limited Press Edition will have 2 Blu-rays or 2 DVDs filled with bonus video content, as well as a photo book. The Limited Edition will come with one Blu-ray or DVD, while the Standard Edition will be CD-only. More details regarding the contents

Perfume will also be hitting the road in Japan to support the album with their Perfume 9th Tour 2022 "PLASMA" from August through November.
