Footage from "THE FIRST FINAL", the "graduation ceremony" concerts held for contestants from SKY-HI's boy group audition show "THE FIRST", will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 29th.
Footage of the last show from THE FIRST FINAL, a series of three "graduation ceremony" concerts held at Pia Arena on January 29th and 30th for contestants from SKY-HI's boy group audition show "THE FIRST", will be released on DVD and Blu-ray
on June 29th.
The concerts featured performances from SKY-HI and BE:FIRST, the group formed from the seven winners of the audition, as well as the eight other contestants who made it to the training camp stage of "THE FIRST". They include TEN,
SHUNSUKE, TAIKI and NAOKI, as well as SHOTA, who was signed to BMSG as a solo artist during the finale of "THE FIRST", and RAN, REIKO and RUI, who were also invited to join BMSG as trainees.
However, it should be noted that NAOKI was unable to attend in-person as he tested positive for COVID-19 just before the shows.
The event also featured guest appearances from BMSG rappers Novel Core and edhiii boi. Novel Core took part in the audition as a mentor, while edhiii boi was a contestant eliminated before the training camp stage,
who SKY-HI decided to sign later on.
The set list for the shows included a number of the songs the contestants performed during the audition, including covers of tracks by SKY-HI, Da-iCE and w-inds., all of the original songs the boys wrote and choreographed
together, and a number of special collaborations.
Titled THE FIRST -BMSG- "THE FIRST FINAL", the live release will be available in four editions: two regular DVD and Blu-ray editions, and two editions limited to the BMSG MUSIC SHOP that add a bonus photo book.
