AL frontman Sohei Oyamada will release a new digital single titled Sliding Guitar / alticcio no yoru on March 23rd.
This single comes ahead of his upcoming nationwide tour, Oyamada Sohei Band Tour 2022, which will stretch from April to June. Sliding Guitar is said to be a blues-inspired number, while alticcio no yoru is described as a
"progressive song with a drifting feeling" that recounts his experiences spending night after night at a bar his friend used to manage that doesn't exist anymore.
Gateballers members Kaya Hamano and Nara Kudomi and Oyamada's AL bandmate Hiroshi Fujiwara all took part in recording the release, and they will also be accompanying him on the tour. alticcio no yoru also
features ex-Quruli member Fanfan on trumpet.
The jacket art for the release was created by live painting performer Kohei Kondo during the three and a half minutes of Sliding Guitar while Oyamada was playing the song during a live event.
