Chaotic Harmony to Release Omnibus Album “Chaos Collection”
Chaotic Harmony will release an omnibus album featuring songs from 13 J-rock and visual kei artists, and a crowdfunding campaign for the compilation is currently underway.
Japanese music promotion company Chaotic Harmony recently announced that they will release an omnibus album titled Chaos Collection.
Aiming to help spread J-rock and visual kei to new listeners, the album will contain 13 tracks from 13 different artists. The songs provided by INITIAL’L and ANONYMOUS will be new, while the song provided by
heidi. will be remixed for the album.
In addition, to commemorate the release of the omnibus, Chaotic Harmony will be working with artists to release a limited edition mini photobook with artist photos and other bonus content.
To help fund the omnibus album, Chaotic Harmony launched a crowdfunding campaign via Indiegogo. The campaign is aiming to help cover costs such as song rights and CD production. People who back the crowdfunding campaign
will receive the CD at a discounted price of $25 (regularly $30). Other rewards will include Chaotic Harmony merchandise and some tiers will include exclusive, personal comment videos from select bands or other perks such as Zoom sessions with members
of Flutter Echo or INITIAL’L. The bands offering personal comment videos are heidi., DaizyStripper, THE SOUND BEE HD, Flutter Echo, Sick²,
ZON, INITIAL’L, and LANTANA.
The crowdfunding campaign is aiming to raise $5000 USD. It has a flexible goal, however, so it will still go ahead even if the goal is not met.
More information about the crowdfunding campaign, including the full tracklist for the album and the prices for the tiers, is available here.
The campaign is scheduled to run through November 7th, 2021. The perk rewards are estimated to ship mid-December.
Music videos for four songs featured on the release, Leetspeak monsters' Gothic, THE GALLO's Kyoukutou Kaizokudan -Kamui-, ZON's Shock!! and THE SOUND BEE HD's ReBoRN, can be
