New Album from Junko Yagami

Singer-songwriter Junko Yagami will release a new album on September 29th.

TERRA - here we will stay is the twentieth original album Yagami has recorded in her 45-year career. It will contain thirteen tracks, including the digital singles Here We Go! and Koi shita kaguyahime. Both songs were co-produced by Koichi Korenaga, best known as Yuki Kajiura's long-time guitarist.

Having debuted in 1978, Yagami was active throughout the heyday of city pop in the early-to-mid '80s. Her standout contributions to the genre's canon include Tasogare no BAY CITY and 1984 (Seireki 2000-nen ni mukete). She put her recording career on hold in 2000, eventually making a comeback in 2012.
