Angelo to Go On Indefinite Hiatus
Visual rock band Angelo will go on indefinite hiatus in January 2022.
Visual rock band Angelo recently announced that they will go on indefinite hiatus in January 2022.
In individual messages on their official website, the band members expressed their feelings. They stated that they made this decision together and thanked their fans and staff for their
support over the past 15 years.
However, before the band members take their break, they have also planned some more lives and a new release. On October 3rd and 4th, Angelo will hold their Angelo 15th Anniversary "ARRIVAL FIELD" shows at Toyosu PIT, which will be followed by the release of their
13th album, titled CIRCLE, on November 17th. The new album will contain 10 tracks in total and, according to vocalist KIRITO, the songs will express feelings about the band's 15 years of history. More details about the album will be revealed
at a later date.
The release will be supported by the Angelo Tour 2021-2022 "THE END OF CIRCLE", which will start with two lives at YOKOHAMA Bay Hall on November 20th and 21st and end with two shows at TSUTAYA O-EAST on January 8th and 9th, 2022.
The final shows before the hiatus begins are titled Angelo "CONNECTED NEW CIRCLES", and they will be held at Yoyogi Daini Taiikukan on January 15th and 16th.
Angelo was founded in 2006 by singer KIRITO, bassist KOHTA and drummer TAKEO - all former members of PIERROT. In summer 2011, they were joined by guitarists Karyu (ex-D'espairsRay) and Giru (ex-Vidoll).
