Currently celebrating their 15th anniversary year, rock band BACK-ON just released a new digital single titled Kill the Beat feat. JESSE on July 30th.
As the title suggests, the song is a collaboration with JESSE, the frontman of rock bands RIZE and The BONEZ.
It was produced with the intention of returning to the band's roots of rap-rock. JESSE and BACK-ON members KENJI03 and TEEDA sing and rap intertwining lines over a heavy beat that aims to transport fans back
to the music scene of the early 2000s.
This collaboration is also particularly significant as it was JESSE who originally gave BACK-ON their name (a play on the Japanese word "bakuon", meaning “explosive sound”) back when they began.
The single has been released across the US and Europe courtesy of British label JPU Records. Links to download and stream it on various digital music platforms are available here.
