New Album from Joe Hisaishi

Composer Joe Hisaishi will release a new album on July 7th.

As its title suggests, MinimalRhythm IV is the fourth instalment in a series of albums that began in 2009. This release contains two of Hisaishi's compositions: his Contrabass Concerto featuring soloist Shigeru Ishikawa, and The Border ~Concerto for 3 Horns and Orchestra~ with hornists Nobuaki Fukukawa, Mika Toyoda and Marie Fujita.

Each piece is divided into three movements, spread over a total of six tracks. Both recordings feature the Future Orchestra Classics, formerly known as the Nagano Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Hisaishi himself.
