SATOchi to Leave MUCC

In early December 2020, rock band MUCC announced on their official website that SATOchi will leave the band in spring 2021 and end his professional career as a drummer. He first told the other members of his decision in May 2020, and stated that he was grateful they continued to treat him the same way even after he revealed his intention to leave.

SATOchi published a statement on the band's website, which is also available in English, and the band's other members shared their feelings about the announcement in statements of their own as well.

MUCC also highlighted that they will continue their activities whilst positively accepting SATOchi's "graduation". SATOchi was a founding member of MUCC, and he has been playing drums in the band for 23 years.
