FIVE NEW OLD Announce New Digital Single Featuring coldrain's Masato

Pop-rock band FIVE NEW OLD have announced that they will be releasing a new digital single featuring guest vocals from coldrain frontman Masato on December 18th.

Chemical Heart is said to be a mellow, 90s-style song based around the theme of "dependence". The collaboration came about as Masato and FIVE NEW OLD vocalist Hiroshi have been friends since the band's indie period, and through touring and playing joint shows together, Hiroshi felt that he personally learned a lot about what a frontman should be like from watching Masato. He stated that he wanted to try singing a song that transcended the boundaries of genre with him, and that when he approached him about it Masato instantly agreed.
