New Album from Chihiro Onitsuka

Singer-songwriter Chihiro Onitsuka will release a new album on November 25th.

HYSTERIA is Onitsuka's eighth full-length studio album. It will contain ten songs, all produced by pianist Shu Kanematsu, including recent digital singles Yakeru kawa and Yuutsu na taiyo taikutsu na tsuki. The session band for the album included guitarist ohzora kimishima, tricot drummer Yusuke Yoshida, and Khacha Band banjoist Tomomitsu Maruyama.

Earlier this year, Onitsuka released the best-of compilation REQUIEM AND SILENCE to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of her music career. In keeping with that theme, all the tracks on HYSTERIA are based on demos Onitsuka recorded before her 2000 debut.
