New Album from DAOKO

Rapper and singer DAOKO released her new album anima digitally on June 24th. A physical release will follow on June 29th.

anima is co-produced by DAOKO and GREAT3's Akito Katayose, who was the sound producer for the singer's major debut album DAOKO. The album includes a total of 12 songs by a wide variety of track makers and musicians, such as Nariaki Obukuro and pxzvc, as well as songs composed by DAOKO herself. The tracks Otogi no machi and Ocharaketayo were previously released as digital singles.

The physical edition will be released in two editions: a limited edition with a DVD, which will include a video of DAOKO's live held on February 10th at LIQUIDROOM, and a CD-only regular edition. The covers were all created by up-and-coming illustrator Hajime-chan.

The album is now available on download and streaming services worldwide.
