Occult-inspired idol unit NECRONOMIDOL have announced that Risaki Kakizaki, Rei Imaizumi and Michelle have all "graduated" from the group as of March 16th.

While Kakizaki was an original member who had been with the group since its debut in 2014 and Imaizumi joined in 2016, Michelle had only been a member of NECRONOMIDOL for a little over a year. In individual messages on their Twitter accounts, the three former members stated that they wanted to continue activities with NECRONOMIDOL and were sad to leave so suddenly, but only Kakizaki gave any hints about the reason for their departure, stating that there was an unspecified incident that left them unable to continue on.

Due to their sudden departure, NECRONOMIDOL have cancelled all of the events they had scheduled for March and April, including a one-man on March 23rd where they were planning to debut new members.

Instead of holding a farewell show as NECRONOMIDOL, the three former members have announced that they will hold their own graduation event on April 27th. They stated that they have been given permission to use NECRONOMIDOL's songs and costumes for this show.

As Himari Tsukishiro is now the only remaining member of NECRONOMIDOL, it has been announced that the group will go on hiatus for a currently unspecified amount of time. However, the group's producer Ricky Wilson released a statement on Twitter explaining that they fully intend to resume activities and will be trying their best to make it happen as soon as possible.
