MAN WITH A MISSION Announce 10th Anniversary Plans

February 9th marked wolf-headed rockers MAN WITH A MISSION's 10th anniversary. They kicked their celebrations off that day with an event titled MAN WITH A “10TH” MISSION BAKUTANSAI ~ TRACE the HISTORY KOKAI CHOKUZEN SP ~ that was held at Zepp Tokyo.

The two-part event consisted of a special anniversary concert featuring tracks from each of their six studio albums and the premiere of an excerpt from the band's first documentary movie MAN WITH A MISSION THE MOVIE -TRACE the HISTORY-, which was accompanied by a talk session. The documentary will be screening in Japanese theaters for a two-week limited run from February 14th to 27th.

During the talk event following the documentary premiere, the band revealed the details of their "MAN WITH A “10TH” MISSION" anniversary project, including two new missions. The first will be the band's first outdoor festival and headlining show, THE MISSION. The event will take place at Naeba Ski Resort. It will be a two-day event stretching from August 29th to 30th, with a music festival featuring bands that are close to MAN WITH A MISSION on the first day and the band's first headlining outdoor show on the second day. For both dates, the band will take over the Green Stage of Fuji Rock Festival, which will have taken place the week before.

The second mission will be the release of three compilation albums that collect songs from throughout the band's career. Scheduled to hit stores on April 1st, MAN WITH A “B-SIDES & COVERS” MISSION will feature various B-sides from their singles and cover songs, as well as the new song The Victors, which is the theme for the MAN WITH A MISSION THE MOVIE -TRACE the HISTORY- documentary. The other two albums will be titled MAN WITH A “REMIX” MISSION and MAN WITH A “BEST” MISSION, and they will of course compile the band's remixes and their signature songs from the past decade, respectively.
