Former KANJANI8 member Ryo Nishikido and Jin Akanishi announced the start of a new project called N/A in December 2019.
The project was launched with a joke "contract" posted on their website and social media. The contract starts out with more formal terms such as that N/A's works will belong to both members' record labels equally, before moving into sillier
statements like "Ryo and Jin may terminate the Agreement in the case that it has been discovered by the Party that the other Party has said bad things behind their back a total of three (3) times." and commentary on their past together as idols such as
"No matter the degree of suffering or pain faced, Ryo and Jin shall make every effort not to sell their souls to the current Japanese entertainment industry, to the extent possible."

The project will start off with the two men playing a joint show in Hawaii. Titled THE MEN IN THE ARENA, it will take place at TOM MOFFATT WAIKIKI SHELL on May 24th. More details are available on the duo's official website.
