Visual kei band LEZARD have announced that they will be disbanding this May.
In a message on the band's official website, the members stated that they will part ways after their LEZARD LAST ONEMAN TOUR. The tour will begin on March 20th in Shizuoka, and it will conclude with a show at Shinjuku
BLAZE in Tokyo on May 29th, which will be the band's final performance.
The message did not go into detail about the reasons for their breakup, simply stating that LEZARD is disbanding because vocalist Sora wishes to depart from the group.
LEZARD was formed in 2013, and they signed with visual kei label Riostar Records in 2014. Original vocalist LiME departed in June 2016, but the band made a triumphant return in January 2017 with Sora. Their career will end after just
over seven years together.
