Slushii released his first collaboration with a Japanese artist on October 4th.
Titled
Calling Out to You, the track features guest vocals from
Miku Nakamura of rock band
Cö shu Nie. Written and produced by
Slushii, it is said to be a beautiful, edgy and up-tempo track. Links to download and stream

In a comment about the release,
Slushii stated that he was familiar with
Nakamura due to her anime work (
Cö shu Nie performed the popular opening theme song for "Tokyo Ghoul : re",
asphyxia, as well as ending themes for "The Promised Neverland") so he was excited about this collaboration. He mentioned that he has a deep appreciation for the culture, music, and the people of Japan and hopes to move to Tokyo one day.
In addition,
Cö shu Nie will be releasing a new song called
bullet digitally worldwide on October 23rd. It will be the ending theme for the anime series "PSYCHO-PASS 3". The single will also be released on CD on November 20th.
Slushii will be dropping a remix of the song called
bullet (Slushii Remix) on November 15th. The remix is said to contain a "cacophonous jungle terror rhythm that, surprisingly enough, doesn't contrast too sharply with the sections that
came before it."
