Mary's Blood and Unlucky Morpheus to Headline Metal Matsuri
Mary's Blood and Unlucky Morpheus will be among ten acts taking the stage in London at a festival dedicated to Japanese metal.
Mary's Blood and Unlucky Morpheus will be among a large cohort of bands and artists descending on London this October for Metal Matsuri, a two-day festival at O2 Academy Islington dedicated to Japanese metal.
Mary's Blood will top the bill on the 4th, in what will be the power metal quartet's first ever performance on European soil. The Friday night will also feature alternative metal trio ZEROSHIKI, 'girls rock' band LIPSTICK, trailblazing solo guitarist Rie a.k.a. Suzaku, and heavy metal band Mardelas.
On the 5th, gothic power metal band Unlucky Morpheus will close out the festival with their first ever show overseas. Preceding them will be singer-songwrter (and keen biker) AYA1000RR, extreme metal veterans BLOOD STAIN CHILD, power metal band BRIDEAR, and steampunk metal orchestra FATE GEAR featuring IBUKI.
Australian kawaii metal star LADYBEARD will appear as a special guest host.
