Rap idol unit Koutei Camera Girl Drei will release a new EP on August 28th.
Be There EP might be the last release to feature their current line-up, as one of the group's three members, catch my heart, will be departing this fall. She will officially leave after their one-man live Undertaker, which will
be held at UNIT in Tokyo on October 5th.
In a comment posted on tapestok records' official website, she stated that the reason is that she feels the music she wants to make no longer lines up with the label's direction.
She is the last member of the group's original line-up to leave, following the "graduation" of ramy t talata this March and Sappy Halloween in March 2018.
Koutei Camera Girl Drei have stated that they intend to continue
activities without taking a break, and they are already searching for new members.
Koutei Camera Girl Drei is the third incarnation of Koutei Camera Girl, another alternative idol unit produced by tapestok records. In an unusual move, Koutei Camera Girl Drei made their live debut not in Japan, but in Canada as part
of the Next Music from Tokyo vol. 11 tour in October 2017.
The group returned to Canada with its current line-up just this May for the 14th installment of the same tour.
