Junnosuke Taguchi and Rena Komine Arrested

Ex-KAT-TUN member and solo pop singer Junnosuke Taguchi and actress Rena Komine were arrested today for suspected marijuana possession.

When it was investigated, a few grams of dried cannabis, smoking devices and other such items were found in their home and office in Setagaya, Tokyo. Further developments will follow after the evidence is assessed at the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office on May 24th.

Taguchi officially started his music career in 2006, when KAT-TUN released their debut single Real Face. He has also been active in the acting world, performing in popular drama series such as "Yukan Club" and "Legal High". He left KAT-TUN in March 2016, making his solo debut that November. He just recently announced plans to embark on a 21-date solo tour titled COSMOS CITY on July 5th.

Taguchi is the second ex-member of KAT-TUN to be arrested for suspected marijuana possession, following Koki Tanaka, who was arrested in May 2017. Tanaka was later released without being prosecuted.
