Violin-infused visual rock band AIOLIN will release a new album on June 19th.
Titled Fate, the album was originally scheduled for May 1st, but it was postponed due to production issues. The album will be available in two editions. Both will feature nine tracks, but two songs will differ depending on the version.
The "Hope Side" edition's exclusive tracks will include Alone and a new version of Remember the Name featuring "futuristic pianist" REO. The "Resistance Side" will contain Voltage and a live version of Faded instead. Both versions will contain the song Venom, which will be a collaboration with rock singer Taro Kobayashi. Kobayashi hails from Hamamatsu, the same city as AIOLIN's vocalist, guitarist, violinist and pianist Hikarito, and he is a senior he looked up to during his school days. While Hikarito played violin on the song Ballad from Kobayashi's 2018 EP SQUEEZE and the two men have held shows and live streams together, this will be the first time Kobayashi has contributed to an AIOLIN release.
