A new visual rock band called
The Guzmania has been revealed.
While the band was originally started last year as a session group centered around ex-
DIV bassist
Chobi, the official start of its activities was just announced on April 24th. Its line-up features some more familiar faces, including vocalist
Tokiha, who is probably best known as
Yodogawa "YODDY" Yoshihiro, an ex-member of the Johnny's Jr. group
Question? and the vocalist and drummer of
The LADYBIRD. The group also features guitarist
YOSHIO, who was previously a member of visual kei band
BABOO under the name
JOY, and drummer
Tetsuya.
The Guzmania's first release will be a mini-album titled
Kaika zenya, which will hit stores on June 26th. No details have been revealed about the tracklist just yet, but it is known that it will be available in a CD+DVD limited edition and a CD-only regular edition. You can follow
