Takanori Nishikawa (T.M.Revolution) will release a new album on March 6th.

Titled Singularity, it will come approximately one year after the release of his first CD single under his real name, March 2018's Bright Burning Shout. Tracks featured on the album will include the aforementioned single, as well as his collaboration with Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas Be Affected, the Hiroyuki Sawano-produced tracks His/Story and Roll The Dice, as well as his upcoming digital single UNBROKEN feat. Tomoyasu Hotei, which will be used as the theme for the live action film "Touken Ranbu: The Movie".

The title comes from the famous hypothesis that the development of superintelligent AI will result in rapid, dramatic changes to the world and human civilization. The intended meaning is that, like those hypothetical machines, Nishikawa will continue to evolve infinitely and exponentially in order to surpass his current self.

The album will be available in two editions. The limited edition will feature 11 tracks, and it will come with a bonus DVD featuring the music video for UNBROKEN feat. Tomoyasu Hotei, making-of footage for the MV and a live version of Be Affected from Inazuma Rock Fes 2018. The CD-only regular edition will feature a bonus track, giving it a total of 12 songs.

In addition, Nishikawa has announced that he will head out on a tour titled Takanori Nishikawa 1st LIVE TOUR [SINGularity] in April. It will start at Zepp Fukuoka on April 13th and wrap up with two back-to-back shows at Tokyo's EX THEATER ROPPONGI on June 7th and 8th.

You can watch a teaser for "Touken Ranbu: The Movie" featuring a clip of UNBROKEN feat. Tomoyasu Hotei and listen to Be Affected on Spotify below.
