Singer-songwriter MUKAI TAICHI will release his second album on November 28th.

Titled PURE, it will feature 12 tracks, including Reset, which was selected as an ending theme for the anime series "Kaze ga tsuyoku fuite iru". The previously released song Siren, which was produced by tofubeats, will also be included as a bonus 13th track. Other producers who contributed to the release include m-flo's ☆Taku Takahashi, LUCKY TAPES vocalist Takahashi Kai, Chocoholic and mabanua. The title expresses MUKAI's aim to continue living as a sincere artist who does not lie to his audience, and the lyrics are all said to honestly reflect things that he has experienced.

The album will be available in a CD-only regular edition and a CD+DVD limited edition. The limited edition's DVD will contain footage of five tracks from the final date of MUKAI's ”LOVE TOUR 2018”, which was held at Music Club JANUS in Osaka, as well as an alternate music video for HERO.

Influenced by African-American music from a young age, MUKAI TAICHI started his music career in 2010 as the vocalist of a jazz-funk band. In 2013, he started a solo career aiming to broaden his sound, and his solo work is said to draw in elements from electronica, ambient and alternative music. He signed a management contract with the major label TOY'S FACTORY in 2016, and his first full album BLUE was released in November 2017. He also just released a digital EP titled LOVE this June, and it is available for purchase and streaming overseas via iTunes and Spotify.

The videos for Pure and Reset can be viewed below.
