Visual kei band FIXER have announced that they will disband in 2019.

The decision comes as a result of the departure of vocalist Jey, who has chosen to leave the band due to personal reasons on January 30th. The band's last live will be the final performance of their one-man tour MEMENTO MORI, which will be titled [FINIS]. The show will be held at Takadanobaba AREA on January 30th.

The band apologized for the sudden announcement and thanked their fans and staff for all of their support over the years. Yuhma, Aika and 70. expressed their frustration and sadness that the band had to end this way in individual comments on the band's official LINE blog, while also mentioning that they hope to make the most of the band's remaining time together.

However, there is one bright spot in this sad news: the band also announced that they will release their second full-length album, FIXER II, and a final best-of album titled ERs before parting ways. The exact release dates and tracklists have not been revealed just yet.

A trailer for the MEMENTO MORI tour and the video for FIXER's upcoming single NIGRUM, which will be released on October 17th, can be viewed below.
