Visual kei band vistlip will release a new single on August 29th.

The title track, BLACK MATRIX, will be used as the ending theme of the anime series "Senjuushi", which will be broadcast from July 3rd. It was composed by Tohya, and the lyrics were written by Tomo.

The single will be available in three editions. The limited edition will feature a bonus DVD with a ROUGH the vistlip video. The "vister" edition will also be CD+DVD, but it will feature the music video and making-of footage for BLACK MATRIX instead. The "lipper" edition will be CD-only, with two additional songs titled Original Words Complex and The Other Side. Tohya also composed Original Words Complex, while Yuh wrote the music for The Other Side. Tomo wrote the lyrics for both tracks.

The band has released new artist photos for BLACK MATRIX. “The CD sleeve, the photos and the music video all use roses as imagery,” commented bandleader and guitarist Umi on the new artwork. “Together with the lyrics I would like you to read into the metaphorical implications of the rose. The concept of our clothing style is a sport mix. Compared to our recent styles we changed the feeling of this one a little towards a street style. We tried to achieve a mismatched looking style that doesn’t feel wrong, and I think that we were able to create that look as we imagined.”

Furthermore, vistlip is going to hold their 11th anniversary concert 11th Anniversary LIVE [SeventhEleven] at Zepp Tokyo on July 7th.
