New Band: Hector

metronome frontman Sharaku Kobayashi and cali≠gari's Ao Sakurai have announced the formation of a new band called Hector.

The band will play its first show, titled Good Morning! Hector!. at Shinjuku LOFT on June 28th. A demo tape will be available for purchase at the concert.

They will then embark on a short tour titled Go go! Hector! on July 11th. It will end with another show at Shinjuku LOFT on the 14th where they will release their first CD.

No details on the band's look or sound are available just yet, but you can follow Hector on Twitter to stay tuned for more updates.

This will be the first project the two men have worked on together since they launched CUCKOO in 2010.
