CYNTIA Announce Hiatus

Rock band CYNTIA have announced that they will be suspending activities until further notice.

The hiatus is due to guitarist YUI's ongoing struggle with focal dystonia, a condition that affects movement in her right hand. In a message to their fans, YUI said she had been planning to leave CYNTIA to make way for a new guitarist, but her bandmates decided otherwise.

It has been just over a year since CYNTIA broke a lengthy silence with the release of their fifth album Urban Night. The music video for the title track can be viewed below:
