Jack to Leave KAO=S

Jack, the shamisenist of art rock trio KAO=S, has announced that he will leave the group next year.

Jack will depart on January 19th, the day after KAO=S's concert To The Journey at Ebisu CreAto in Tokyo. In a statement, the band said that Jack's decision was motivated by him having "a new vision for his music career".

KAO=S have confirmed they will continue as a duo for the time being. They also confirmed that this will not affect the release of their forthcoming mini-album, which is currently in production.
