Utada Hikaru's New Single to Receive Worldwide Digital Release

Utada Hikaru's new single Anata will receive a worldwide digital release on December 8th. Anata will be the main theme for major feature adventure fantasy film "DESTINY Kamakura Monogatari", in theaters December 9th.

Utada Hikaru comments on the track in an interview:

“Since I had known ahead of time that the original story was about how a parallel world filled with monsters was linked within our everyday life, I had inspirations to use Buddhism-related words when I was creating the song. I am looking forward to see how the listeners will take the song.”
