Rie a.k.a. Suzaku Joins New Band

Metal guitarist Rie a.k.a. Suzaku has announced her participation in a new all-female band.

The group also includes vocalist Nicky and drummer vivi. The trio have tentatively named themselves Prototype, though they recently invited fans to suggest alternative monikers. They will play their debut live at Shinjuku Wild Side on January 29th.

This is the first non-session band to involve Rie since she co-founded the short-lived RAN in 2008 with Mary's Blood vocalist EYE.
