Enka trio HAYABUSA will release a new album on March 15th.
HAYABUSA First will be available in two editions: one limited CD+DVD version and one regular edition. Both will feature new original songs as well as new cover tracks. The bonus DVD of the limited type will feature music videos for their previously released singles Yokohama yokorenbo, Chotto matteyo Yokohama, Nande Yokohama..., Romantic Tokyo, Tsukiakari no Tango, Eborebo! and Ryuusei no Romance.
It is not yet known how many tracks the album will feature. More details will be announced at a later date. However, despite the title, this will actually be the group's second album. In November 2013, they released their first, Kayou Cover Songs, although it only featured a total of six cover tracks.
HAYABUSA was formed in 2011 by Hikaru, Shoya and Yamato. The trio made their European debut in July 2016 at Japan Expo in Paris, France, and they returned to Europe in November that same year for London's HYPER JAPAN Christmas Market. At both events, they were joined by former AKB48 member Iwasa Misaki, who is now pursuing a solo career as an enka singer.
