HER NAME IN BLOOD Drummer Arrested

It was announced yesterday that HER NAME IN BLOOD drummer Umebo (real name Nakazato Shigeki) has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department for alleged marijuana possession.

The band and their management TRIPLE VISION ENTERTAINMENT announced via a joint message that after numerous discussions between the members, staff and Umebo's family, they have to decided that his contract will be rescinded and he will withdraw from HER NAME IN BLOOD as of today, December 10th. The remaining members will also restrain their activities as a band for the present time, cancelling six dates of their upcoming BAKEMONO TOUR 2016 and the three BAKEMONO TOUR FINAL MATCH shows they had booked for January 2017. They have also pulled out of an event on December 11th, but because the show will still go ahead with the remaining acts they are not able to offer refunds.

They apologized for causing trouble for their fans, and they are currently working on a way to get tickets for the nine performances refunded. Fans are advised to keep an eye on their website for more updates regarding the refunds and to hold on to the physical copies of their tickets.

HER NAME IN BLOOD released their first full-length major album BAKEMONO this September on Warner Music Japan, and they just returned from their very first European tour, which lasted for nearly a month, on December 7th.
