Pop/R&B duo CHEMISTRY have announced that they will restart activities in 2017.

CHEMISTRY debuted in 2001 after its members Dohchin Yoshikuni and Kawabata Kaname were discovered on the Japanese talent search show "Asayan". They performed together for over a decade before the group was placed on indefinite hiatus in 2012 to allow the members to devote their attention to their respective solo projects.

This year marked the 15th anniversary of the duo's debut, and naturally, the members had been discussing plans to celebrate. Now, they have announced two back-to-back one-man lives titled CHEMISTRY LIVE 2017 ‐TWO‐, which will take place at Tokyo Kokusai Forum Hall A on February 28th and March 1st. They have stated that new music will likely follow, but that they would like to kick off their return with live performances to acknowledge the fans that have waited for them and show how much they have grown due to their solo activities.
