New Album from AKB48

Famous idol group AKB48 announced the release of their eighth studio album for January 25th, 2017.

The currently untitled album will be available in two editions: a CD+DVD Type A edition and a CD-only Type B. Little is known about the contents at the moment. However, it has been confirmed that both editions will feature the songs Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby, 365 nichi no kami hikouki, Kimi wa Melody, Tsubasa wa iranai, LOVE TRIP, Shiawase wo wakenasai, Hikari to kage no hibi as well as their latest single High Tension.

Furthermore, it has been stated that both versions will feature new tracks that will differ from edition to edition. The DVD from Type A comes with digest material of AKB48's show AKB48 Zenkoku akushu LIVE, though this content may change.
