Kagoshima-based rock band Suichu Blanco announced recently that they will be taking a break from live activities.
This news came on the heels of an announcement that frontman Yuta Inoue and bassist Yui Hidaka were entered into a family registry this August and are expecting their first child in the winter. While the band will be unable to perform due to Yui's condition, the members were quick to state that they will still be working on new music, solo activities and other projects. They expect to be able to return to the stage as Suichu Blanco after approximately a year.
In the meantime, Suichu Blanco also have a single scheduled for release on December 14th. 8ep will feature three songs: 8, Nekonose and wakaranai, which were originally released during their October Taiwan tour. However, this single will feature remixed and remastered versions of the tracks, and it will be available nationwide in Japan. The single was mixed and recorded by Inoue, with artwork by drummer Ryuji Blanco.
