TAKURO Starts Solo Project

GLAY guitarist TAKURO has announced that he will release a solo album on December 14th.

Journey without a map will be a completely instrumental album, and it will feature 11 tracks. The album was produced by Tak Matsumoto from B'z, and it was recorded with musicians living in Los Angeles. It has also been stated that TAKURO used three vintage Gibson Les Pauls from his own collection to give the songs a sense of depth and that the release is built on a base of jazz and blues, with a sound that is very different from his work with GLAY.

The album will be available in three editions. There will be a CD+DVD limited edition, a CD-only regular edition and an analogue version. The DVD included with the limited edition will feature documentary footage.

TAKURO will promote the release with a solo tour in February 2017.
