Tatsuya Yoshida has announced via Facebook that a European tour for Japanese New Music Festival is being planned for between May 20th and June 20th next year. Actual tour dates and venues have not yet been decided, so interested event organizers are now being encouraged to contact Yoshida about bookings.

The concept of Japanese New Music Festival is three musicians performing as eight different groups. The musicians include: Tatsuya Yoshida (Ruins), Atsushi Tsuyama (ex-Acid Mothers Temple) and Makoto Kawabata (Acid Mothers Temple). The styles of the performing groups will encapsulate everything from psychedelic, prog, jazz and classical sounds to contemporary compositions, experimental and ethnic music. The categorization-defying concept is inspired by Frank Zappa's claim that humor does indeed belong in music.

Japanese Music Festival 2017 will consist of the following groups: Ruins Alone, Acid Mothers Temple SWR, Akaten, Zoffy, Zubi Zuva X, Psyche Bugyo, Atsushi Tsuyama Solo and Makoto Kawabata Solo.
