Shota of ADAMS Passes Away

With great sadness it was announced today that Shota Yokoyama, guitarist and producer of "neosexual" rock duo ADAMS and co-owner of label HIGHFeeL, passed away on November 30th in Warsaw, Poland. This was the sad result of a stroke he suffered on November 28th, during the Warsaw show of ADAMS' Original Love Tour 2015. Although he was immediately hospitalised, Shota passed away in the early hours of November 30th.

The guitarist had just released a new best-of album with ADAMS, and was in the midst of the duo's first world tour across Asia, Europe and the US. Shota had also recently launched a solo project.

Many JaME staff members worked closely with Shota and knew him well, so we are still in shock. We extend our deepest condolences to his partner Aurélie, his bandmate ADAM, his family, friends and many fans. Rest in peace, Shota.
