URBANGARDE Announces New Album

Trauma techno-pop band URBANGARDE has announced their new album, Showa 90, to be released from Kadokawa Media Factory on December 9th. It will be the band's seventh full-length album and their fourth after their major debut.

The album's title connects to a mysterious message yet to be revealed by URBANGARDE, since Japan's Showa era ended with year 64 in 1989. Known for their pointed social commentary, the title and imagery (a decayed version of Japan's National Diet Building) of Showa 90 hints at a possible vision of alternate reality. URBANGARDE has also announced their fall 2015 Japan tour titled URBANGARDE National Tour 2015 Showa 90th year along with an upcoming Christmas Special Hall Live at Shinsaibashi BIGCAT in Osaka on December 17th and Shibuya Owada Sakura Hall in Tokyo on December 22nd.

URBANGARDE made their USA debut in June at A-Kon 2015 in Dallas, Texas.
