New Single from Megumi Hayashibara

Megumi Hayashibara will release a new single on October 21st.

Hayashibara is very famous as a voice actress, having voiced a string of notable anime characters such as Rei Ayanami from "Neon Genesis Evangelion" and Ranma Saotome from "Ranma ½".

The new single, titled Sanhara ~Seinaru Chikara~, is her second release this year in celebration of the 25th anniversary of her debut. The first, her best-of album Time Capsule, was released in June.

The single contains six songs, including two instrumental tracks. In addition to the title track, it includes the song Mou Hitori no Watashi, which was used as the theme song for a new project surrounding the 90s anime series "3x3 EYES", which Megumi also provided voice acting for. Other tracks include: raks-ati, which was included in a now rare bonus disc that came with the 1998 game 3×3 Eyes: Tenrin Ou Genmu, and a duet song sung with voice actor Kouji Tsujitani in "3x3 EYES".
