KAO=S to Perform in Brazil

Art rock band KAO=S will perform at the Hanabi Matsuri held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12th. The special event celebrates the 120th anniversary of Japanese and Brazilian friendship. The event will be held at the Interlagos circuit (Autódromo José Carlos Pace), well-known for hosting Formula One races.

The event will start at 11:00am with the opera "Madam Butterfly". Brazilian band Animadness and all-female ska band ORESKABAND will perform as well.

KAO=S will be on stage from 3:30pm and will perform a one-hour show. At night, about 4,500 fireworks will be launched by Japanese pyrotechnicians. Celebrated Japanese fashion designer Junko Koshino will produce the fireworks display.
